Michael J. Dean DMD |
Dr. Michael Dean, received his dental degree, DMD, from the Washington University School of Dental Medicine where he finished near the top of his class. Upon completion of dental school, he sought further training and completed a General Dental Practice Residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He enjoys and is committed to taking ongoing dental education courses. To date he has completed close to 2000 hours of continuing education courses since finishing dental school. This commitment to ongoing training ultimately benefits our patients.
Among the course work Dr. Dean has completed is the Creating Restorative Excellence program, which is taught by Dr. John Kois, considered by many the best dentist in the world today. This program keeps dentists up to date on the latest in Aesthetic, Restorative and Implant Dentistry. Dr. Dean is one of approximately 100 people worldwide to achieve mentor status at CRE.
He is an active member of the Great Blue Heron Study Group and is a restorative adviser for the group.
He has also been selected as one of America’s Top Dentist’s, by The Consumer Research Council of America, an independent consumer group.
